Colart Miles

Colart Miles is an experienced management consultant with a passion for improving agility in businesses through the introduction of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Colart has a BSc from Aston University in the UK as well as a string of industry qualifications including Prince 2 Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master, ISEB Business Analyst and City & Guilds Systems Analyst. Colart is a permanent writer for the official Massey University MBA blog and a regular participant in various professional groups around Auckland and more recently in the U.S. Colart has extensive background experience in a variety of industries in both Europe, the U.S. and New Zealand including; financial services, broadcast television, media (print & online), IT outsourcing, banking, insurance, oil and N.G.O.'s.

Colart has a track record of collaborative achievements and has a keen interest in building high performance teams.

He is currently completing an executive MBA at Massey University and has recently taken up a partnership role with Clarus Ltd to evangelize Agile methodologies (such as Scrum) with companies in New Zealand.
Damian Brown

Damian Brown

Damian is the General Manager of Clarus Christchuch.

Damian has strong consulting project management skills, and is a qualified PRINCE2 practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified ScrumMaster. He has a background across a number of IT disciplines, primarily within the applications environment, voice, data, wireless networking, security, open systems, desktop rollouts, storage environments and operating systems. He is also experienced in the delivery of service based programmes such as ITIL and the associated process re-engineering and organisational change required to implement standards based programmes.

Damian can successfully operate in a managerial, business and/or technical project management role. He has managed projects from their concept stage, through the RFP process, across implementation and handover into the support organisation.

Stanley is a professional software tester and has worked on projects that have used both traditional and Agile (Scrum) methodologies. He has used a variety of testing techniques including, Risk-Based Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning and Pairwise testing and has also had experience with automated regression testing using various tools, including Selenium IDE and WebAii.

Ian Ross

Ian Ross

Ian leads Clarus' Software Quality practice. He is a Senior Test Consultant who holds the coveted ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst Certification in Software Testing and is also a Board Member of the Australian and New Zealand Testing Board, actively involved in planning, writing and reviewing testing certification exams and the overall ISTQB syllabus.

Ian has also held senior roles for a range of organisations including Senior Testing Consultant at Hewlett-Packard. He is a team player with strong leadership and mentoring skills. He is a committed, motivated and focused individual, driven by challenges and has a fundamental belief in seeing a problem through to resolution and delivering on promises.

Ian is also a volunteer senior emergency response professional.

Clare McLennan

Clare McLennan is a Test Automation Consultant and Agile Coach.

Clare joined Trimble as a graduate in the early days of their Agile adoption process. Since then, she worked for Syft, EA Games (for DICE, Stockholm) and AdScale before becoming a consultant. A passionate Agilite, she has worked in many roles including tester, developer, scrum master and coach.

Clare is helping to shape the future of test tools as a FitNesse contributor, and the futures of students at Unlimited Paenga Tawhiti as a UPT Digital mentor. Will Parker

Will is a consulting business analyst and project manager with experience in banking, consulting, HR, law, accountancy, real estate and utilities sectors. He is ISEB accredited in Requirements Engineering and Business Process Modelling, is a Certified Scrum Product Owner and is a PRINCE2 Practitioner.

Will has an extensive skillset including business process re-engineering, balanced score card, UML, use cases, story boards, requirements workshops, facilitation, business process engineering and modelling, data analysis, business rules analysis, gap analysis, structured walkthroughs and user stories. He was managed large scale projects and worked within PMO functions for development of best practices. He has prepared business cases, briefing documents, communications and presentations for boards and working parties and has often been seconded to cover senior managers when required.

He was consulted to a number of the UK’s top 100 professional firms at strategic and tactical levels resolving complex business problems. He has highly refined consulting and collaboration skills, enabling optimal outcomes.

With a strong background in achievement including senior level rugby, rowing, drama and leadership, Will thrives on the challenge, is focused and highly motivated.

Lucie, age 49, sells clothing in Lubumbashi. With this loan she has purchased a roll of fabric to make school uniforms to sell. Her business generates a profit of $400 per month. Her ambition is to someday open a drugstore in her area. She is married and the mother of five children - all of them attend school.
