Clarus’ Business Analysis Competency has grown considerably in the previous 18 months, primarily due to our relentless focus on quality and client value. We are now seeking a senior level Business Analyst professional to join our competency.

We are a dynamic, open company made up of senior professionals seeking ways to improve our industry.  We are passionate about raising the bar in our industry and a lot of our work involves assisting clients improve their business and build capability as opposed to just filling project roles. As such, you will be exposed to a range of different projects, industries and clients. Clarus is a leader in the Agile space therefore naturally you will be exposed to Agile projects (among other methodologies).

We are looking for someone who demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for Business Analysis professionalism.  We are not prescriptive about the position description for this role as we not believe in pigeon-holing people into roles. We are more interested in the skills, experience and approach you will bring to complement our BA competency and the way you would like to see the role take shape over time.

Key requirements for this role are

  • Demonstrable experience in Business Analysis
  • Strong people and an ability to work with a range of different people including developers, customers, and project managers.
  • You must be pragmatic, open, flexible and committed.
  • Excellent analytical and written and oral communication skills and documentation skills

Desirable Attributes

  • IIBA qualification
  • Experience working on Agile projects, in particular Scrum.
  • Experience or an interest in project management. 
  • Experience in mentoring others and coaching

Lucie, age 49, sells clothing in Lubumbashi. With this loan she has purchased a roll of fabric to make school uniforms to sell. Her business generates a profit of $400 per month. Her ambition is to someday open a drugstore in her area. She is married and the mother of five children - all of them attend school.
