Edwin Dando - Managing Director
Edwin is Clarus' founder and MD. He is a passionate Agile advocate with a strong background in Scrum. Edwin has been responsible for introducing Scrum and Agile to many organisations throughout New Zealand.
Edwin has a strong understanding of project management, consulting and software development. He has a BSc in Computer Science and is a Professional Scrum Trainer with Scrum.org.
Edwin has applied his extensive knowledge and experience over a range of projects for clients such as Accenture, Synergy, Gen-I, Vodafone and Telecom.
As a highly motivated individual, Edwin has delivered notable business projects in his career. He passionately believes in sustainable business and advocates all businesses considering three bottom lines – profit, environmental and social.
Edwin sits on a number of committees including the Canterbury University Software Engineering Industry Advisory Panel.
He is a family man with four children: Jessica, Henry, George and William.

Damian has strong consulting project management skills, and is a qualified PRINCE2 practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master.
Damian has a strong technical background with an understanding across a number of IT disciplines, primarily within the applications environment, voice, data, wireless networking, security, open systems, desktop rollouts, storage environments and operating systems. He is also experienced in the delivery of service based programmes such as ITIL and the associated process re-engineering and organisational change required to implement standards based programmes.
Damian can successfully operate in a managerial, business and/or technical project management role. He has managed projects from their concept stage, through the RFP process, across implementation and handover into the support organisation.

Bruce Keightley Lead's Clarus' Agile Practice while also being Clarus' Christchurch General Manager. He holds an MBA alongside his Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner certifications and is passionate about business improvement using common sense tools like Scrum.
Bruce served in the Royal New Zealand Air Force for over 23 years as a pilot, flying instructor, staff officer and commander. On leaving the air force he moved to the Middle East, where he worked as a contract instructor, personnel manager and project specialist. He returned home after eight years and began consulting work, specialising in management and training.
Bruce joined Clarus in 2011 and has been involved in teaching, implementing and coaching Scrum with a growing number of clients.
Bruce’s extensive military career has ingrained the Agile principles of inspect and adapt; this combined with his extensive and practical leadership and management experience has produced an unusual but extremely effective skill set.

Richard is an experienced Agile Coach and trainer with 15 years of ICT experience and another 10 in other sectors. He has trained in Scrum under Jeff Sutherland and is highly regarded in leading Agile work streams and senior project management roles. Richard is a licensed Holacracy Practitioner and leads the Holacracy channel at Clarus.
In addition to his Agile Coaching experience, Richard has experienced as a developer, business & solutions analyst, project & programme manager, operations manager and product manager. With a formative background forged in the British Army he has a pragmatic approach and a hands-on delivery focus.
Richard is quick to grasp new concepts and ideas and put them to practical use. He has worked in organisations of varying sizes from small start-ups to multinationals and is comfortable adapting to differing organisational cultures.
His style is open and collaborative and he has an engaging manner. As a natural coach he constantly seeks to create the environment in which the teams he works for can flourish.
He quickly builds strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation, even with challenging personalities. He is equally comfortable acting alone in a trusted advisor capacity or leading project teams, programmes of work or portfolios of projects.
At Clarus Richard is currently working on helping our clients adopt Scrum, providing agile coaching services, Lean & Kanban training and is also leading Holacracy transitions.
He is also the founder of the Auckland agile community forum "Talking Agile".

Will is a consulting business analyst and project manager with experience in banking, consulting, HR, law, accountancy, real estate and utilities sectors. He is ISEB accredited in Requirements Engineering and Business Process Modelling, is a Certified Scrum Product Owner and is a PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Will has an extensive skill set including business process re-engineering, balanced score card, UML, use cases, story boards, requirements workshops, facilitation, business process engineering and modelling, data analysis, business rules analysis, gap analysis, structured walk-throughs and user stories. He was managed large scale projects and worked within PMO functions for development of best practices. He has prepared business cases, briefing documents, communications and presentations for boards and working parties and has often been seconded to cover senior managers when required.He was consulted to a number of the UK’s top 100 professional firms at strategic and tactical levels resolving complex business problems. He has highly refined consulting and collaboration skills, enabling optimal outcomes.
With a strong background in achievement including senior level rugby, rowing, drama and leadership, Will thrives on the challenge, is focused and highly motivated.

Colart Miles is an experienced management consultant with a passion for improving agility in businesses through the introduction of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Colart has a BSc from Aston University in the UK as well as a string of industry qualifications including Prince 2 Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master, ISEB Business Analyst and City & Guilds Systems Analyst. Colart is a permanent writer for the official Massey University MBA blog and a regular participant in various professional groups around Auckland and more recently in the U.S. Colart has extensive background experience in a variety of industries in both Europe, the U.S. and New Zealand including; financial services, broadcast television, media (print & online), IT outsourcing, banking, insurance, oil and N.G.O.'s.
Colart has a track record of collaborative achievements and has a keen interest in building high performance teams.
He is currently completing an executive MBA at Massey University and has recently taken up a partnership role with Clarus Ltd to evangelize Agile methodologies (such as Scrum) with companies in New Zealand.

Robbie has over a decade of senior level experience applying diverse skills in a variety of business domains with considerable experience in the education sector having spent over 5 years working on LearnDirect - the UK governments University for Industry on-line learning system. She has worked on projects that have applied both waterfall and Agile methodologies, including a variety of requirement elicitation and management techniques including, User Stories, Use Cases, Requirements and Test Conditions.
Robbie is also experienced in database-focused roles that have required skills in relational and dimensional modelling, normalisation, logical database design and SQL. Robbie is also experienced in test analysis, execution and reporting.
In addition to her considerable BA skills, Robbie has an ITIL v2 qualification alongside over five years practical Service Support and Delivery experience. She also has internal audit qualification and experience, including audit planning, execution and reporting. She is a highly motivated professional who thrives on challenges. She has outstanding communication and relationship building skills.

Ian leads Clarus' Software Quality practice. He is a Senior Test Consultant who holds the coveted ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst Certification in Software Testing and is also a Board Member of the Australian and New Zealand Testing Board, actively involved in planning, writing and reviewing testing certification exams and the overall ISTQB syllabus.
Ian has also held senior roles for a range of organisations including Senior Testing Consultant at Hewlett-Packard. He is a team player with strong leadership and mentoring skills. He is a committed, motivated and focused individual, driven by challenges and has a fundamental belief in seeing a problem through to resolution and delivering on promises.
Ian is also a volunteer senior emergency response professional.

Clare McLennan is a Test Automation Consultant and Agile Coach.
Clare joined Trimble as a graduate in the early days of their Agile adoption process. Since then, she worked for Syft, EA Games (for DICE, Stockholm) and AdScale
before becoming a consultant. A passionate Agilite, she has worked in many roles including tester, developer, scrum master and coach.As well as writing a blog on agile testing and development, Clare is helping to shape the future of test tools as a FitNesse contributor, and the futures of students at Unlimited Paenga Tawhiti as a UPT Digital mentor.
With a background in white water kayaking and other adventure sports it is no wonder Clare's personal mission to "install a sense of adventure" in everyone she meets.

Account and Resource ManagerAs the Resource and Account Manager Kate's role at Clarus is managing Clarus' Pool of Excellence (all Clarus' Associates).
Kate has recently graduated from the University of Canterbury, with a Bachelor of Commerce endorsed in Human Resource Development. Prior to commencing with Clarus, Kate has a background in customer service and recruitment, including evaluations and placements for a range of positions.
Kate is a caring, outgoing and sincere person, professionally priding herself on placing the "right person in the right position, ensuring the best fit". Additionally, she is a strong advocate of on-going evaluation, development and training.
She has a large supportive family network, being one of six daughters.
